 ou...  (je vous vois d'ici !  ) CORRECTION : MARDI 1er AVRIL 2008
1 – Ne t’inquiète pas ! Je suis certaine que tu vas finir par trouver un travail.
2 – Il était si occupé qu’il n’a pas pu assister à la réunion.
3 – Il a une femme et trois enfants à charge.
4 – En réalité son nom est Jones.
5 – C’est un grand fumeur.

Very interesting question !
The adverbs of time (afterwards, eventually, lately, now, recently, soon, then, today, tomorrow etc.) and the adverb phrases of time (at once, since then, till(6.00 etc.) are usually placed at the very beginning or at the very end of the clause, i.e. in front position or end position. End position is usual with imperatives and phrases with till.
With compound tenses, eventually, lately, now, recently, since and soon can come after the auxiliary :
- We'll soon be there
- They eventually paid for...
- It would eventually run out....
