Hello Mysto' the sadist
I live in Piccadilly Circus, behind the Coca-Cola sign.
Whenever I TELL people this, they SAY immediately:"I didn't know anybody lived there. Isn't that rather noisy? " The answer is no. Traffic BEGINS until well after nine o'clock. So I WAKE UP each morning not to the sound of traffic, but to the song of birds.
The area north of Piccadilly IS CALLED Soho and it is famous as London's amusement centre. In my street alone there are three clubs, five restaurants, a fish and chips shop, a cinema, a theatre and two musical instruments shops. The stage door of the theatre is directly in front of my flat and I can see the actors coming out TO GET/TAKE some fresh air between acts. Although the whole area around Soho is always full of visitors who COME to the big city to enjoy themselves, Soho has a village atmosphere and everybody KNOWS everybody else.
Thanks quand même _________________ O'rientCat

Goodnight my friends,
Here is my try:
I live in Piccadilly Circus, behind the Coca-Cola sign.
Whenever I get telling people this, they say immediately: "I didn't know anybody lived there. Isn't that rather noisy?". The answer is no.
The stage door of the theatre is directly in front of my flat and I can see the actors coming out to take some fresh air between acts. Although the whole area around Soho is always full of visitors who come to the big city to enjoy themselves, Soho has a village atmosphere and everybody knows everybody else.
Thanking you, my dear MystO'

Hello everybody,
Not easy at all But here is my try:
I live in Piccadilly Circus, behind the Coca-Cola sign.
Whenever I tell people this, they say immediately:» I didn't know anybody lived there. Isn't that rather noisy? " The answer is no. Traffic begins until well after nine o'clock. So I don’t wake up each morning to the sound of traffic, but to the song of birds.
The area north of Piccadilly is called Soho and it is famous as London's amusement centre.
In my street alone there are three clubs, five restaurants, a fish and chips shop, a cinema, a theatre and two musical instruments shops. The stage door of the theatre is directly in front of my flat and I can see the actors coming out to get some fresh air between acts. Although the whole area around Soho is always full of visitors who come to the big city to enjoy themselves, Soho has a village atmosphere and everybody knows everybody else.
I don't like this one at all because I don't understand quite well
Traffic begins until well after nine o'clock.
I prefer:
The traffic doesn't start/begin before nine o'clock
Maybe it is not correct...but easier for me
Anyway, wait and see

Hi everybody !
Many thanks to you, my friends, for taking part !
Yes, it wasn't easy !
Time for correction :
I live in Piccadilly Circus, behind the Coca-Cola sign.
Whenever I tell people this, they say immediately: "I didn't know anybody lived there. Isn't that rather noisy?" The answer is no. Traffic doesn't begin until well after nine o'clock.
The stage door of the theatre is directly in front of my flat and I can see the actors coming out to get some fresh air between acts. Although the whole area around Soho is always full of visitors who come to the big city to enjoy themselves, Soho has a village atmosphere and everybody knows everybody else.
Word not used: take
To our friend Coxy :
"Traffic begins until well after nine o'clock" : you're right, this sentence is not correct because of the affirmative form of "begin". If you want to use an affirmative form, you must remove the word "until".
For instance :
Traffic begins well after nine o’clock.
The traffic doesn't start/begin before nine o'clock.
The meaning is a little bit different.
Is that clear enough, my dear Coxy ????
See youuuu,

Hey!
My dear MystO', I see you left the verb "take" out!
I tried hard not to do it. It's why I wrote "get telling" ("commencer à raconter")...
