What a nice exercise
1 – A special kind of pot that cooks things under great pressure : a pressure pan 
2 – A liquid that is used to thin paints : a solvent
3 – Another kind of liquid that removes paints : white spirit 
4 – A machine people use to dry their hair : a hairdrier
5 – A kind of medecine or liquid that some men hope will restore their hair : a hair lotion like Petrol Han 
6 - A small gadget people use to open tins : a tin opener
7 – A very simple kind of machine that people use when they sweep carpets :an hoover
8 – A powder which kills ants : an insecticide
9 – A screw that pulls corks out of bottles :a corkscrew
10 – A small gadget that opens bottles : a bottle opener
